Yeah okay I'll just let Sprite out and tell her to make sure to avoid all the cars/coyotes/other animals that can and do kill cats (and dogs) all the time around here.

Idk, I think the fact that my cat hasn't tried to escape once, after being picked up as a stray, is a pretty good indicator that she's happy with how things are now.

"But some places are perfectly fine to keep cats outdoors, like remote places!"

There's wildlife that could hurt a cat anywhere don't even try to pull that one. AND cats kill wildlife themselves too, so that's another reason to keep them indoors in a "remote" area.
